FAQs
-
How long can I expect to be on your waitlist?Since weekly clients are committed to this service long-term, I can't provide an exact time frame. It could be as soon as a month or two, or closer to a year. Because of this, I only keep a couple waitlist spots open.
-
Where do you travel? For weekly meal prep services, I am currently working within a 10 mile radius of Durham, NC. For events and private dinners, I will travel up to 25 miles outside of Durham, including Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Garner, Cary and Apex.
-
What do you specialize in?For a couple of years, I exclusively cooked plant-based. This past year I have reintroduced seafood as well as meats and dairy products sourced from local farms. My focus is still heavily vegan and vegetarian, and I am also well versed in gluten-free cooking.
-
Is everything organic?I usually pick what looks best, which is mostly organic, but not always 100%. I am happy to shop with your preference either way.
-
Can you work with my dietary restrictions?Absolutely, I'm happy to work with any dietary restrictions or allergies you have. I do charge an additional fee for more restrictive diets however, as these menus require more time and planning. I do not offer macros.
-
Do you deliver or cater? All of my food is prepared in home kitchens, and not in a commercial kitchen space. For this reason, I do not offer delivery or catering services.
-
Can I gift your services?Yes! I offer gift certificates for private dinners. A 50% deposit is required up front, with the remaining 50% due along with the grocery cost on the day of the dinner the recipient chooses. A printable gift certificate is available upon request.
